Durkan (Davitt Road) Limited applied to An Bord Pleanála for planning permission as part of a Strategic Housing Development scheme on lands at the Former Dulux Factory Site, Davitt Road, Dublin 12, D12 C97T on a site of approximately 0.8266ha.

The development will consist of 265 ‘Build-to-Rent’ private rental sector (PRS) units in 4no. 3-7 storey blocks.
The residential development will include a retail/café unit, a resident’s gym, 119 no. car parking spaces, internal semi-public paths, public and private open spaces and all communal facilities including bike parking, generous landscaped private courtyards and meeting rooms.

Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council awarded Brian M Durkan & Co. Ltd the contract to demolish the old existing bungalow (Pictured left)

at 132 Pottery Road, Dún Laoghaire, Co Dublin and build 4 One bedroom apartment’s (Pictured Right).

           

This Project was completed on schedule to a high standard of energy efficient construction to BER A1 Rated Apartments.

Brian M Durkan & Co Ltd complied with the passive house designs and requirements for this project.

Castleknock Lawn Tennis Club New Extenstion & Club Fit-Out

Brian M Durkan & Co. Ltd are delighted to have been appointed as building contractor by Castleknock Lawn Tennis Club.

The project involves construction of several extensions, increasing the capacity of the clubhouse providing additional floor space throughout while optimizing energy efficiency. Replacement of existing first floor balcony and full internal fit-out to the club.

All works will be carried out without interruption to the tennis club operations.
